It sounds like you might need to Format your memory card. All brand new memory cards should be formatted before you use them the first time. Did you do this?

Make sure you transfer ALL images to your computer, then format it (via the camera Menu) to delete ALL files from it.

Formatting should be done regularly to delete all the files and helps keep the card in good order and helps prevent card errors.

Never make a habit of leaving all your images on the memory card, in case something goes wrong with the card. What you should do is shoot, transfer to your computer, then format the card to delete all the files from it. Formatting is a better method of deleting all your images compared to using the 'delete all' option.

If you continue to have problems, you might need to buy a new card. They don't cost much...

bad sector in memory card. At this point of unidentified image your memory card will not take pictures. The reason is if its new, try formatting it, if its old then it might be china made memory card, they have this problem.
I have mine that gives same error after 2GB usage and i can not take any picture after that. so when it uses the memory i keep looking in camera whether its saving the pictures correctly or not because the unidentified images will not be displayed on screen as well
