You mean you want a D-SLR? like a big one that you can switch lens with?

if so, how much you wanna spend on it? I can name you 20 different models from $450 to $7,000

and what kind of lenses do you want? because lenses is another thing, a good lens could cost a lot more than your camera.

tell us what you want and your budget, and we will tell you more specific.

If you want good image quality I would recommend Digital SLR camera which take far better picture than point & shoot camera. Nikon D3000 or Canon revel XS are good choice.

but if you want compact camera, Panasonic LX3 or Canon S90 are great point & shoot camera.

or cheaper one that I would recommend Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 10.1 MP with 12x Wide Angle MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3 inch LCD. Great zoom, good picture and good HD video.

get an affordable one from a reputable manufacturer. Just look on amazon or overstock or go to an electronics store (frys, best buy, etc.) and see which one you like.
