Half of the time when I take a video with my moms camera, if says "File error."?


I can't do anything to the video because of it, and it's annoying.
Her camera is a polaroid Digital camera
Memory card
Any extra info needed just ask

good chance there is a computer error. calling tech support and finding if there is a microchip problem.

When was the last time you formatted the memory card. You should do this after you copy all the image files to your computer ... every time.

When people have only one memory card and hardly ever copy their images to their computer, the end up deleting images to make room for more. This is a very bad habit and can lead to corrupting the whole card.

Buy a second memory card like a less than $10 - 2 gb card (on sale) and format it before you use it. Then see if you get the error. If you still do, there is a problem with your camera and you will have to call the camera maker for assistance.
