I have a Sony cybershot, and the device that I use to upload photos isn't working. It doesn't even show up on my laptop screen.
How else can I upload pictures without having to buy a new device?
you can try sticking the memory card into the slot on the computer. that works as well. if you can't, then get a new one.

You might have to buy a 16 in 1 card reader. Its worth it. Or reinstall the device software. Hey look in my computer the card even in your camera will show up in there if your plugged in. Just search the card for .jpg
