is there something wrong with my camera ?


I have a Sony WSC W290 , the Lcd screen is fabelous but when i view photos with fine details and horizontal straight lines , I think the photo is shaking why ? and why that doesn't happen in other photos ?

Try viewing those same photos on a computer screen, if you see the same effect then you may need to go see an optician.

Images can create a variety of optical illusions. Fine details and horizontal lines are perfect candidates for creating these optical illusions. Fine details and horizontal lines can create the illusion the image is shaking or moving. Circles can cause an image to appear as if its rotating.

Below is a link to a page of image optical illusions if youd like to see more. You can try viewing you images on the computer but I doubt its your eyes. The lines and details in your photos are most likely the perfect size and spaced the perfect distance to create the illusions. Thats why you dont see it in all your images. They dont have the right details to create an optical illusion.

Some illusions appear to all people but some are seen by some people but not other people. Its all size, shape,color, spacing and the optics of each persons eyes.
