i need a good cheap camera?

i need to get a good and cheap digital camera. im going to get it from walmart. i need something under 200 dollars.

canon. dont' get the nikon coolpix. me and 2 other friends have it and hate it.
unless there is bright light it doesnt take good pics

Get either the Canon PowerShot A1100-IS 12.1MP or the Canon PowerShot SD1200-IS 10MP.

Here are the prices from walmart.com and I listed links below to these cameras.

Canon PowerShot A1100-IS 12.1MP - $129 (uses AA batteries)
Canon PowerShot SD1200-IS 10MP - $149

I think the more expensive Canon here is cost more because it come with the rechargeable battery and is a bit more compact. I would get the lower priced Canon PowerShot A1100-IS 12.1MP.

Actually there is no such thing as good and cheap, never has been. Quality is expensive to build so it's expensive to buy.

Its a great Camera in the price range and using AA batteries is a real plus. You dont have to buy an expensive proprietary battery as a backup or if the original goes bad and in a pinch you can use AA alkalines.

"Quality" and price arent related. In manufacturing "quality" is determined by whether or not a product meets its design specs and is suitable for its intended use. A $10 generic watch and a $10,000 Rolex are both "quality" products if they meet their specs and intents. Your under $200 camera may not have the capabilities of a $2000 DSLR but that doesnt mean it isnt a quality product. It wasnt designed or intended to compete with the $2000 DSLR or do what the $2000 DSLR can do. Dont pay attention to those telling you that a cheap camera isnt a quality camera. Some might not be but it isnt absolutely so.
